Holiday Campaign

The holidays are a magical time of year here on the Island. Homes, schools, churches and businesses are filled with mouthwatering aromas and their interiors are ablaze with the lights of the season. All across the Island, children and adults alike are preparing for the many choirs, plays, and other events that are soon to come to life. Last year the Hospitality Association documented approximately seventy-five different holiday activities and will work again this year to catalog and document the activities for the upcoming holiday season. The intent of this activity is to prepare a master calendar that will be used to promote the island as a desirable holiday destination for the many travelers and tourists destined to travel during the holiday season. As well, the Association will use the calendar to plan and coordinate additional activities in partnership with organizations such as the Coastal Discovery Museum, the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, the Mall at Shelter Cove, and the Island Recreation Center.
